Suomi Type Foundry is a company that specializes in the creation of quality typefaces. Established by Tomi Haaparanta, a typeface designer since 1990, Suomi Type Foundry's fonts have been distributed by various renowned entities such as Linotype, Monotype, ITC, T-26, and Psy/Ops. In 2004, Tomi Haaparanta made a decision to inaugurate his own font foundry. Suomi Type Foundry follows a philosophy of keeping extensive type families to provide more options to its users. This is because there are instances when users find an attractive typeface, but its weight might not be satisfactory. Their fonts usually come with an average of seven weights, making it probable to find the right weight. The company also ensures its type library meets the diverse needs of its users.

App: for embedding in mobile applications. Select this license type when you are developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, and you will be embedding the font file in your mobile application's code.
Digital Ad/Email: for use in HTML5 ads. This license type allows you to embed fonts into digital ads, such as ads built using HTML5.
Webfont: for your website. Webfonts can be used on a single domain and cannot be shared across multiple websites. Webfonts used on the website are subject to page view count and there are different types of webfont licenses available.
Electronic Doc: for embedding in e-text products. This license type allows you to embed the font in an electronic publication such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF.
