Webfont usage: Webfonts are restricted for use only on a single domain. Multiple websites maintained by agencies can't share a single webfont license. Pageviews are counted each time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded. They can also be used in graphic images displayed on the website. Licensing options for webfonts include Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go.

Desktop usage: Personal and professional uses in desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. includes creating and printing documents and static images. Licensing is based on the number of font users. Desktop licenses come with restrictions e.g., use in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions, and products intended for sale.

App usage: License required for embedding in mobile applications developed for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone.

Digital Ad/Email usage: For embedding fonts in digital or HTML5 ads. These can be shared with third parties working for you but you retain full responsibility. Digital ads have different usage patterns and often vary wildly in their monthly views. Licenses can be purchased before the start of a campaign or adjusted at the end of each month, depending on the number of impressions.

Electronic Doc usage: For embedding in e-text products such as eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. License is based on the number of publications using the font. Different versions or regional/format variations don't require multiple licenses unless they are sold as separate publications. Use on ePub covers might require a separate Desktop license.
