First Prize is a sans serif typeface with simple, geometrical shapes. It is narrow and heavy, and its character constructions are quite predictable. Despite its constructed skeleton, it integrates calligraphic elements, such as swashes and cursiveness. Currently, First Prize typeface is available in three narrow styles: bold, upright italic, and italic. The cursive weights feature attractive ending swashes and initials. There are also a few alternative shapes for A&N. Ideal as a display typeface, First Prize compliments other typefaces well and is suitable for any project, be it print or online.

* Desktop: Intended for use on a desktop workstation. The most commonplace applications, both private and professional, can use this font in a desktop environment that includes a font menu. For instance, you can install the font on your Mac OS X or Windows System and use it within desktop apps such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and more. It allows the creation and printing of documents, along with static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). Desktop licenses are centered around the number of users accessing the font. Adjust the number of users by selecting the quantity dropdown option on Buying Choices or Cart pages. Make sure to inspect the foundry's Desktop license agreement carefully, as it may contain restrictions—such as usage in logos/trademarks, limits based on geographical locations (number of locations), and commercial products. If you need to add more users later, remember that Desktop licenses are cumulative. If additional users are required for a Desktop license, simply make a new purchase of the same Desktop package for the extra users. Pricelist Desktop End User License Agreement (EULA)
