Desktop: This license type allows you to install the font on your Mac OS X or Windows system and use it within desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. You can create and print documents, as well as static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). Desktop licenses are based on the number of users of the fonts.
App: This license is meant for those who are developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, where the font file will be embedded in the mobile application's code.
Electronic Doc: This license allows for the embedding of the font in an electronic publication such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF. The license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used.
Digital Ad/Email: This license enables embedding the font into digital ads, such as those created using HTML5. This license also allows sharing the webfonts kit with third parties who are making ads on your behalf.
Webfont: This license is for using the font on a single domain. It does not permit sharing a single webfont license across multiple websites. Webfonts can be used in graphic images shown on the website.
