Desktop: Allows the usage in common personal and professional desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop etc. The licenses are based on the quantity of users and can be managed and increased later. However, certain restrictions may apply based on usage and selling of products.

Webfont: Permits the usage on a single domain but cannot be shared across multiple websites. The licenses are counted as single pageview for every load of a page using the webfont kit. MyFonts provides three types of licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go.

App: This type if needed when developing an app for platforms like iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, as it allows embedding of the font file in the app's code.

Digital Ad/Email: Suitable for embedding fonts into digital ads, such as HTML5 ads. License is more affordable and varies based on advertising impressions month-to-month.

Electronic Doc: Allows the font usage in electronic publications such as eBooks, eNewspapers etc. It is based on the number of publications using the font.
