Desktop: Intended for display on a desktop workstation. Most common in both personal and professional arenas. Useable in desktop applications with a font drop down. e.g., Installation on Mac OS X or Windows systems. Can be used within applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop etc. Supports creation and printing of documents as well as static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). The quantity of desktop licenses depends on the total number of font users. Buyer needs to adjust the quantity in Buying Choices or Cart pages. Attention should be paid to foundry's Desktop license agreement as there might be restrictions, for instance, in the use of logos/trademarks, geographical restrictions (number of locations), and commercial products. Webfont: Best suited for websites. Utilizable on a singular domain. Agencies looking after multiple websites such as web design agencies or hosting providers, cannot use a single webfont license across several websites. Each loading of the webpage using the webfont kit (Webfont kit CSS which contains the @font-face rule) is regarded as one pageview for every webfont within the webfont kit. For image graphics shown on websites, it is recommended to consider Desktop licenses. MyFonts extends three variations of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. App: Ideal for phones apps. This type of license is best suited when developing apps for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone where the font file will be incorporated into the mobile app's code base. Refers to Lupa Slim 1 App EULA for further information.

Electronic Doc: For embedding fonts in electronic texts. This license can be used to embed font in electronic editions like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. Based on the number of publications where the font gets used. Each issue adds count as a separate publication. Variations in regions or formats don't add up as separate publications. Do not need a new license for updated versions of publications that are free to previous customers; otherwise, each new version would be counted as a distinct publication.
