Design Owner: L'île Foundry 파운드리

Angela Ippolito, an Italian architect, and Jérémy Ruiz, a French graphic designer, established a creative design studio named L'île in 2015. In the year 2021, they proceeded to set up L'île Foundry, an independent digital type foundry positioned in Milan. The designation of the studio and the foundry were inspired by La Possibilité d'une île, a book penned by Michel Houellebecq, encapsulating the phrase 'The possibility of an island'. L'île Foundry offers an experimental space, aiming to assign typography two identities - as an individual work of art and as a conduit of communication. Their works are unique, yet understandable by all.
