Jipatype, a foundry based in Bangkok, Thailand, was established in 2020 by Anupap Jaichumnan, a full-time type designer. Over the past 2 years, I have created a myriad of font families, continually learning how to design both Thai and Latin typefaces. * Desktop: Intended for use on desktop workstations, these licenses find application in both personal and professional arenas. They can be used in desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc for creating and printing documents. These licenses are based on the number of users and derivative restrictions may apply.
* Webfont: Specific to websites, these licenses allow for use on a single domain. Usage is monitored and each loading of the webpage using the webfont is considered a single pageview. MyFonts offer three kinds of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go.
* App: These licenses are used when developing iOS, Android, or Windows Phone applications and require embedding the font file in the mobile application's code.
* Digital Ad/Email: Intended for use in HTML5 ads, these licenses allow embedding of fonts into digital ads. The Digital Ads EULA facilitatess usage in digital ads and on advertising networks. Pricing reflects usage patterns and can be adjusted based on impressions required by the campaign.
* Electronic Doc: Designed for embedding in e-text products like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. Licensing is based on the number of publications incorporating the font. Each issue is considered a separate publication.
