It allows the font to be used in desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. You can also use this to create and print documents and static images such as .jpeg, .tiff, .png. Desktop licenses are based on the number of users. If you need to add more users, simply purchase additional Desktop packages for the number of needed users. Do review the foundry's Desktop license agreement as some restrictions might apply. These could include use in logos/trademarks, geographical limits (num of locations), and products for sale.
