Webfont: Intended use for single domain only. Agencies with multiple websites such as web design agencies or hosting providers cannot share a single webfont license across different websites. Every time the webpage utilizing the webfont kit is accessed, a single pageview is counted for each webfont used. Other uses, like usage in graphic images in the website, look for a Desktop license. MyFonts provide three types of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. Only one type of license is available for a particular webfont.

Desktop: Meant for use on a desktop workstation. Mostly used for personal and professional use in desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Possible to create and print documents as well as static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). Desktop licenses are user number based. The number of users can be modified by selecting the quantity dropdown option on Buying Choices or Cart pages. Certain restrictions may apply, such as use in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions and products that will be sold.

App: Ideal for embedding in mobile applications. Used when developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, where the font file is embedded within the mobile application's code.

Electronic Doc: Perfect for embedding in e-text products. Used to embed the font in electronic publications like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers or interactive PDFs. The license is publication number based. Each individual issue of a publication is termed as a separate publication. Regional or format variations are not counted as separate publications. Free updated versions of publications to previous customers do not require a new license.

Digital Ad/Email: Suitable for use in HTML5 ads. The license includes a kit with webfonts that are used within digital ads. If you plan to use the font for digital ads and advertising networks, Digital Ads EULA is the most suitable.
