The Dragon Tongue Foundry, helmed by Scott Spensley from New Zealand, is recognized for its innovative music and graphic design ideas. The foundry originated approximately 40 years ago, and its first high-quality digital font was introduced around 20 years back. This noteworthy font, admired by many, was a digital adaptation of the calligraphy of Scott's late wife. Unfortunately, due to her demise from cancer and subsequent hard-drive failures, this distinguished font was lost and no versions remain. The Dragon Tongue Foundry had to pause its operations for a while, but recently revived with the opportunity provided by Covid and lockdown.

* App: for embedding in mobile applications. Suitable for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone applications.
* Desktop: for personal and professional uses in desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Can be used to create and print documents as well as static images. Desktop licenses depend on the number of users of the fonts.
* Digital Ad/Email: for use in HTML5 ads. Provides a kit containing webfonts usable within digital ads. The purchase of a Digital Ads license is recommended over a Webfont license due to different usage patterns and terms that enable usage in digital ads and on advertising networks.
* Electronic Doc: for embedding in e-text products. Intended for use in electronic publications like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. License is based on the number of publications in which the font is used.
