The Dragon Tongue Foundry, helmed by Scott Spensley from New Zealand, is recognized for its innovative music and graphic design ideas. The foundry originated approximately 40 years ago, and its first high-quality digital font was introduced around 20 years back. This noteworthy font, admired by many, was a digital adaptation of the calligraphy of Scott's late wife. Unfortunately, due to her demise from cancer and subsequent hard-drive failures, this distinguished font was lost and no versions remain. The Dragon Tongue Foundry had to pause its operations for a while, but recently revived with the opportunity provided by Covid and lockdown.
