Naghi Naghashian, born in Teheran, completed his school education in Iran before furthering his studies in illustration and book design at the Hochschule fuer Gestaltung (HfG), a design academy in Offenbach, Germany. His subsequent career involved roles as an art director in numerous advertising agencies in Germany, Switzerland, and England. Parallel to his agency work, he also pursued a freelance career in graphic design, focusing on illustration and brand designing for top brand manufacturers in Europe and broadcasting stations in Germany and in other European regions. Naghashian dedicated a portion of his career to theoretical work in the color field, conducting research into passive color perception and after-image phenomena.
