This collection capitalizes on Microsoft's ClearType font rendering technology, and Consolas has been part of it since Windows Vista.

Widely integrated, it comes bundled with Windows, Microsoft Office 2007, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.

Additionally, it is available for download from Microsoft.

Unique to Consolas is the inclusion of a slash through the zero character, a distinctive feature among standard Windows Vista fonts.

Notably, it has become the default font for Microsoft Notepad starting with Windows 8.

The Segoe Script is a part of the Segoe family of fonts, originating from Microsoft. Its design, credited to Carl Crossgrove, was inspired by the handwriting style of Brian Allen. The Segoe Script Family, comprising of 2 fonts, is characterized by elegant handwriting script fonts. The character set of the Segoe Script font includes Latin-1 and WGL Pan-European (Eastern Europe, Cyrillic, Greek and Turkish). The font specifically features extended strokes that are inherently present in cursive handwriting.
