Chank Company, founded by Chank Diesel in 1992, is a Minneapolis-based type house and art studio. The company became known in 1996 when Chank Fonts were showcased in the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum as important examples of contemporary typography. In 1997, Chank was profiled in The Wall Street Journal. The company aims to make typography fun and accessible for all, offering original experimental free fonts and affordable commercial fonts that set new trends. Aside from this, they also offer custom fonts for companies that need a specific design for a typeface. Chank’s fonts have been used by numerous clients around the world.

* Digital Ad/Email: Intended for embedding fonts into digital ads, such as HTML5 built ads. This license can also cover digital ads and advertising networks due to their unique usage patterns.
* Webfont: Suitable strictly for a single domain website use, making it unsuitable for multiple websites. Only one of three types of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go would be available.
