Webfont: A webfont can be used on a single domain. Agencies with multiple websites cannot share a single webfont license across those websites. A single pageview is counted for each webfont within the webfont kit every time the webpage using it loads. For use in graphic images shown on the website, a Desktop license is recommended as most allow for it. MyFonts offers three types of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go.

Desktop: This license is for use on a desktop workstation. It caters to both personal and professional uses in desktop applications with a font menu, for instance, Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Desktop licenses are based on the font users' number, and some restrictions may apply—like use in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions and products that will be sold.

App: This license is best for developers building an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone and are embedding the font file in the mobile application's code.

Electronic Doc: This license is for embedding the font in an electronic publication like an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF.

Digital Ad/Email: This type of license allows the embedding of fonts into digital ads or HTML5 ads.
