* Webfont: The license for this type of usage permits utilization on a single domain only. The font cannot be shared across multiple websites especially by entities managing multiple sites. Each loading of the page with the font counts as a single pageview. For its usage in images displayed on the website, a Desktop license is suggested. There are three webfont licenses offered by MyFonts: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. For each font, only one out of three types is available.

* App: If you are developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, and you intend to embed the font in your application, you would need to select this type of license.

* Desktop: These licenses are typically used for both personal and professional purposes on desktop applications with a font menu. They permit the user to install the font on their Mac OS X or Windows system and utilize it within various desktop applications. The licenses are cumulative and are based on the number of users.

* Digital Ad/Email: With this license, fonts can be embedded into digital ads which are built using HTML5. The license also allows certain usage in digital ads and on advertising networks.

* Electronic Doc: For embedding in electronic publications like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF, an Electronic Doc license is required. This type of license is based on the number of publications that use the font.
