Webfont: This license is for use on a singular domain. If you are an agency managing multiple websites, you cannot share a single webfont license across multiple sites. Every time the webpage that uses the webfont kit loads, the counting system accounts for a single pageview for each webfont within the kit. If you intend to use the webfont in graphic images displayed on the website, we suggest opting for a Desktop license, as most of these allow for it. MyFonts provides three categories of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. However, only one of these three options would be available for a specific webfont. Desktop: Ideal for both personal and professional usage, this license allows for use in desktop applications with a font menu. For instance, you could install the font on your Mac OS X or Windows system and use the font within desktop apps such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. You can also use it to create and print documents as well as static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). The number of users of the fonts determines the Desktop licenses. If you need to cater to more users, just choose the quantity dropdown option on Buying Choices or Cart pages. Please take a moment to review the listing foundry's Desktop license agreement as some restrictions may apply, including use in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions (number of locations), and products that will be sold. If you need to add more users later, remember that Desktop licenses accumulate. All you need to do is place a new order for the same Desktop package for the required number of additional users. Digital Ad/Email: If you're looking to embed fonts in HTML5 ads, consider this license. You receive a kit containing webfonts that can be used within digital ads. This kit can be distributed among third parties working on your digital creatives. Still, you are wholly responsible for the kit. HTML5 ads use webfonts, but why not just opt for a Webfont license? Well, the Digital Ads EULA features terms that facilitate usage in digital ads and on ad networks. Plus, the usage patterns for digital ads vary considerably compared to websites. A Digital Ad license is much more affordable, considering the fluctuations in advertising impressions. If you're aware of the number of impressions required by your campaign, you can order the necessary amount in advance. Electronic Doc: This license is for embedding fonts in e-text products like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. The number of publications that use the font determines the Electronic Doc license. Every issue counts as a separate publication. Format or regional variations don't constitute separate publications. Free updates to previous customers do not require a new license. Each new edition that is released counts as a different publication.
