Desktop: Configured for usage on a desktop workstation and targeting a wide variety of uses, both personal and professional. It can be used in desktop applications with a font menu like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. The license also covers the creation and printing of documents and static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). Desktop licenses are based on the number of user count. The users' quantity can be changed during the purchase.

Webfont: Used for a single domain per purchase, it doesn't allow shared usage for multiple websites. The license counts a single pageview for each usage of the font. It also covers usage in graphic images displayed on the website. MyFonts provides three kinds of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go, with only one available per webfont.

App: Catered towards developers who are working on app development for platforms like iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. The typeface can be embedded within the application's code.

Digital Ad/Email: Used to embed fonts in HTML5 ads. It provides a kit with webfonts that can be incorporated in digital ads. Even though it permits sharing the kit with third-party associates working on your ad creatives, the responsibility lies entirely with you.

Electronic Doc: Used for embedding the font in electronic publications like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. Each edition counts as a distinct publication, but updated versions distributed free to previous customers don't require a separate license.
