Desktop: for use on a desktop workstation. License allows for both personal and professional use in desktop applications with a font menu. For instance, the font can be installed on your Mac OS X or Windows system and used within desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. It's possible to create and print documents, as well as static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). The number of users of the fonts determines the desktop licenses. Any restrictions may apply—such as usage in logos/trademarks, geographic constraints (number of locations), and products for sale.

Webfont: for use on a single domain website. Cannot be shared across multiple domains. A single pageview is counted for each webfont within the webfont kit every time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded.

App: for embedding in mobile applications. Suitable for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone applications where the font file is embedded in the mobile application's code.

Electronic Doc: for embedding in e-text products. Fonts can be embedded in an electronic publication such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF.

Digital Ad/Email: for use in HTML5 ads. Fonts can be embedded into digital ads, such as banner ads. License can also cover usage on advertising networks.
