Richard Lipton
Richard Lipton, with a background in professional calligraphy, has dedicated over 40 years to the design of letterforms. The discipline of type design, despite its strict parameters, in his view provides unlimited potential for creative letter-making. Lipton's interest in type design blossomed after earning a BA in Design and Photography. Through his work as a calligrapher, sign painter, and graphic designer, he developed a passion for type design. He continues his exploration into the art of alphabetic expression, finding endless nuances within it.
