The company called 'The Classic Font Company' was originally recognized as 'The Datafile', which served as an Acorn Public Domain Library. Our font designer, Tony Nash, submitted some of his contributions to the library. It was apparent that Tony possessed exceptional talent in design. Together, we polished Tony's work, added hinting and fine-tuned the final typeface. These fonts gained immediate success on the Acorn Computer platform. As the Acorn platform declined, we found it necessary to adapt the typefaces for PCs. A variety of software was utilized for this purpose, such as FontLab, Font Monger, Fontographer, !FontEd, !Daeddalus, and !FontFiend, among others. We believe that the unique features of El-Cid, Carol, Frameworks, and Sav will capture your interest.
