Russian Fonts, a company founded in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in April 2015 by independent type designer Misha Panfilov, is currently based in Moscow. Panfilov, initially a graphic and web designer, started practicing calligraphy in 2012 which led to the creation of his first typeface in 2013. Over the following two years, he released over 10 typefaces. The company's focus is on multilingual typeface families - Cyrillic and Latin (western, central, south-east) and specializes in display, script and text typefaces. Their near future goal is to develop high-quality typefaces combining strong visual and technical aspects.
