František Štorm
In 1993, František Štorm purchased his first computer and realized the scarcity of good fonts. He decided to create his own and founded the Storm Type Foundry in Prague that same year. His intention was to restore the classical values of typography missing in the digital world. He understood the usefulness of his fonts to others and decided to start a business based on it. During the process of digitizing original Czech typefaces, he collaborated with Otakar Karlas, Jan Solpera and Josef Tyfa, experienced Czech designers. The collective effort aims to ensure the artistic longevity of their typefaces.
