Latinotype, based in Concepción and Santiago, Chile, was founded by Luciano Vergara and Daniel Hernandez with the goal to design new typefaces that remix diverse influences related to South American identity into high quality products for the contemporary design industry. The founders have been doing this since the foundry's establishment in 2007. In recent years, Latinotype has become one of the most successful foundries on MyFonts, with a rapidly growing collection of typefaces in a wide array of genres. They specialize in colorful display and script faces, and their group name 'Latinotype' underscores their strong tie.

Desktop: This option is advisable for both personal and professional use. Compatible with desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. You can create and print documents or static images. Desktop licenses are cumulative and based on the number of users. Restrictions may apply depending on the agreement of the foundry's Desktop license. For additional users, a new desktop package is needed.
App: Ideal for mobile applications on iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. This entails the embedding of the font file into the mobile application's code.
Digital Ad/Email: Intended for use in digital ads such as HTML5-built ads. A kit for digital ads is provided with webfonts. Digital Ads licenses are preferred over Webfont licenses due to their specific terms for digital ads use and advertising networks.
Webfont: Suitable for a single domain use. Each time a webpage using the webfont kit (with CSS @font-face rule) is loaded, a single pageview is counted for each webfont within the kit. Graphic images on the website might need a Desktop license.
Electronic Doc: This license type allows for the embedding of the font in electronic publications like eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs.
