For instance, you can: Install the font on your Mac OS X or Windows system; Use the font within various desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and so forth; Create and print documents, as well as craft static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png). Desktop licenses are contingent on the number of font users. Increase user quantity via the quantity dropdown option on Buying Choices or Cart pages. Always review the listed foundry's Desktop license agreement, as it may have some limitations. For instance, its usage in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions (number of locations), and commercial products.
Webfont: Applicable on a singular domain. Design or hosting agencies dealing with multiple websites may not share a single webfont license across all the websites. Each time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded, the counting system counts a single pageview for each webfont within the webfont kit. Graphic images on the website should consider using a Desktop license. MyFonts provides three types of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. Specifically, only one of the three will be available for a particular webfont.
App: Appropriate for embedding in mobile applications. When developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, and you plan to embed the font file in your mobile application's code, choose this license type.
Electronic Doc: Suitable for embedding in digital text products. Can be used to embed the font in an electronic publication such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF. An Electronic Doc license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used. Regional or format variations don't count as separate publications. Updated versions of publications that are free to previous customers do not require a new license.
Digital Ad/Email: Perfect for use in HTML5 ads. This license permits font embedding into digital ads, such as ads built on HTML5.
