Proportional Lime Type Foundry operates from a second floor, inhabited with a bird, cats, and high levels of heat produced both by outdated machinery and the principles of thermodynamics. The hierarchical structure consists of the bird owning the cats, followed by the cats owning the humans. Despite the bird's unending commentary and the cats' occasional proofreading, work progresses normally, achieving the objective of developing typefaces influenced by historical aspects. At PLTF, our goal is to design typefaces that accurately mimic the aura of older printing technologies for modern use, as well as to experiment with unique designs.
