Please confirm the exact usage with the font owner(foundry or publisher).
* Webfont: This is ideal for your website, however, should be used on a single domain and not shared across multiple websites, particularly for agencies managing multiple sites. Each loaded webpage using the webfont kit (the CSS containing @font-face rule), records a single page view for every webfont within the kit. Certain embedding in graphic images may require considering acquiring a Desktop license. Three forms of webfont licenses are offered by MyFonts: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. Depending on the webfont, only one of the three would be available.
* Desktop: This type is optimal for both personal and professional use in desktop applications equipped with a font menu. Examples include Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop etc. It is recommended to install this on Mac OS X or Windows system. You can generate and print documents in static image formats such as .jpeg, .tiff, .png. The licenses are user-number based, which can be adjusted via quantity dropdown option during purchase. Note that certain restrictions may apply which can be reviewed in the Desktop license agreement.
* App: This license type is perfect when developing an app for iOS, Android or Windows Phone and embedding the font file in your application's code.
* Electronic Doc: This can be used to embed the font in an electronic publication such as eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper or interactive PDF. Each new version of the publication is considered a separate publication unless free to previous customers.
* Digital Ad/Email: Fonts can be embedded into digital ads using this type of license. A kit containing webfonts, which can be shared with co-operating third parties, is provided for digital ads like HTML5 banner ads. Different usage patterns between websites and digital ads result in lower costs for Digital Ad license compared to Webfont license.
