Desktop: Permitted for both personal and professional uses, can be used within desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. As well as for creating and printing documents, and static images. The licenses are based on the number of users, some restrictions may apply such as usage in logos/trademarks, geographic restrictions, and products for sale.
Webfont: Applicable for a single domain, not allowed to be shared across multiple websites. Suited for usage in graphic images displayed on the websites.
App: Ideal when developing an app for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, where the font file will be embedded in the app's code.
Digital Ad/Email: Used to embed fonts into HTML5 digital ads. The kit supplied may be shared with third-parties working on your ad creatives, however, it is your responsibility. Digital Ads license reflect usage in digital ads and advertising networks, and account for inconsistent pageviews compared to websites.
Electronic Doc: This license allows for embedding the font in electronic publications such as eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, or interactive PDFs. It is based on the number of publications where the font is used, with each issue counting as a separate publication. Updated versions that are free to previous customers do not need a new license.
