Alive Fonts, a company specializing in handcrafted typography, is operated by Allen Mercer, located in northeastern Hungary. Allen once had a partner at House Industries, where he created fonts such as Funhouse, the Street Van collection, and the infamous House Gothic. However, in 1998, Allen gave up his partnership with House Industries to become a full-time Christian missionary with his wife Sharon in Hungary. With over 20 years of experience in handcrafting fonts, Allen seeks to generate extra income to provide for his family of four and his missionary work among Hungarians.
