※ Following licensing information is for reference only.
Please confirm the exact usage with the font owner(foundry or publisher).
* Desktop: To utilize on a desktop workstation, quintessential for personal and professional utilization, compatible with desktop applications exhibiting a font menu. For instance, installation of the font on your Mac OS X or Windows system, used within desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Documents and static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png) creation and printing capability. The desktop licenses are proportional to the number of users. Quantity adjustments for users can be made from our Buying Choices or Cart pages. Some restrictions may be applicable as per the foundry's Desktop license agreement— such as usage in logos/trademarks, geographic limitations (number of locations), and sellable products. Upgrade options for additional users are cumulative and can be purchased separately for the same Desktop package.
* Webfont: Suitable for a single domain, ideal for designers or hosting service providers focusing on multiple websites. Note: Webfont licenses are strictly not transferrable across multiple websites. Each webpage utilizing the webfont triggers our counting system to tally a single pageview per webfont incorporated within the webfont kit. In case the graphic images displayed on the website need to utilize the fonts, a Desktop license may be considered. Offering three types of webfont licenses: Annual, Pay Once, and Pay As You Go. Availability of one of these depends on the specific webfont. Click here for more
* App: Specifically for embedding in mobile applications. Choose this license when you are developing an application for platforms like iOS, Android, or Windows Phone, where the font file will be integrated into your mobile application's code.
* Electronic Doc: For integration into e-text products, electronic publications such as an eBook, eMagazine, eNewspaper, or interactive PDF. This is regulated by the count of publications that employ the font. Each issue is considered as a separate publication. Variations in region or format don't account as separate publications. Free updated versions of publications for previous customers do not necessitate a new license. Each new version otherwise counts as a distinct publication. For font utilization in graphic images shown on the ePub cover, a Desktop license is primarily recommended.
* Digital Ad/Email: For use in HTML5 ads, and embedding fonts into digital ads, like those built with HTML5. It provides a kit containing webfonts that can be utilized within digital ads such as banner ads. The kit may be shared with third party associates working on creating the ads on your behalf, responsibility for which remains entirely yours. The reason for preferring a Digital Ads license over a Webfont license is due to the terms of the Digital Ads EULA that permit usage in digital ads and on ad networks, and the usage pattern variation between ads and websites. Unlike the consistent pageviews of websites, ad impressions fluctuate immensely. The comparatively lesser expense of the Digital Ad license reflects this. If the campaign's impression count is pre-determined, the required amount can be ordered before initiation. For campaigns with impression count uncertain until conclusion, a true up is possible at each month end.
