T26 Digital Type Foundry was established by Carlos and Sun Segura in 1994 to promote independent type design development and distribution. The parent company, Segura Inc., has maintained its relevance with a dedication to the broader integration of typography with graphic design, fine art, and popular visual culture due to its award-winning promotional designs. Carlos, after an 11-year career as Art Director, Creative Director, and Designer at top advertising agencies in the country, along with Sun Segura, were already running the Segura Design firm in Chicago since early 1991. This presented an opportunity to further the project.
