About "Helmut"

Helmut started when studio Superscript² found the backcover of the French newspaper ‘L’Illustration’, dated May 11th 1940.

Strange proportions, E with overlapping acute & ET ligature were enough to gave them the idea of a new typeface with Small Capitals that measures half of Capitals height, a lot of ligatures and three widths.
